L’Empreinte was once more recognized during the Gutenberg Gala on April 30, 2013.
The Gutenberg Gala is organized by the Québec Institute of Graphic Communications along with the Artisans des Arts Graphiques de Montréal. This year, Gala organizers revised the submission process to create two broad sections based on different criteria: the Technical Challenge and the Innovation Challenge. Submissions to each challenge fall under eight categories: Marketing, Book Publishing, Magazine Publishing, Newspaper Publishing, Corporate Communications, Packaging, Labelling and Advertising Displays.
L’Empreinte won the Technical Challenge in the Book Publishing category with the program it created for the Cirque du Soleil’s Amaluna show. In addition to this award, the Reebok CCM catalog that L’Empreinte created for its client Sport Maska merited a nomination in the Marketing category of the Technical Challenge.
Once again at the forefront of innovation, L’Empreinte created custom colours that gave the Amaluna program its vibrant intensity and crisp details – even on 100% recycled paper.
“This award truly honours our team’s know-how and expertise,” said Luc Janson, vice president of sales and marketing at L’Empreinte, as he thanked the Cirque du Soleil team for trusting the company with this project.
